I have an almost brand new Presto 20 Heat Transfer Machine 16" X 20" Great for t-shirt business. I bought it for $1200 but, selling it for only $700. Brandon Boyd of Incubus Inspires Tattoo

Our new friend and customer, Chris, came to Jason looking to get some tattoo art before he leaves for Japan. He came with the idea to get one of Brandon Boyd's (of the band Incubus) drawings tattooed on the inside of his bicep. Boyd's artwork was very cool and Jason was totally inspired to do the tattoo. Jason reworked the original drawing to add his own flare and they were off.

The tattoo took around 4 hours to complete and it came out amazing. Chris and his girlfriend were really fun to hang out with, we had a really good time (chocolate rain) hahaha. Here is the pic of the Brandon Boyd artwork and the pic of the finished tattoo.

Zombie Horror Movie Tattoo Art

Our new friend and client, Gil, recently came to Jason looking to get a zombie tattoo. Boy was I stoked when I heard what he wanted because I am a huge horror movie fan! Gil wanted one of the zombies from the remake of George Romero's horror movie classic, Day of the Dead. He had a particular zombie in mind for this tattoo art, she appears 57mins and 42 sec into the movie, to be exact. :) This is one twisted looking zombie chick, straight up: nasty. I love it!

Gil's first session lasted about 4 hours and they got a lot done. He will probably need at least one maybe two more sessions before the zombie is complete. Gil was so stoked with what they got done in that time. He was really happy with it. Pageant of the Masters: Living, Breathing Art

I am in awe at the fine art Jason Dunn has been creating.  His attention to detail and the way he takes pride in each and every piece he creates is amazing!!  He's the Louis Vuitton of tattooing in my book and I'm proud to have a custom tattoo by him! 

Not only is his art living and breathing, so is the exhibit at the Festival of Arts in Laguna, CA.  It's called "Pageant of the Masters"  This years pageant is called "All the World's a Stage".  What is it, you ask?  Well it's 90 minutes of living pictures.  Just imagine looking at a painting and having it recreated exactly as it looks by living people.  Backed by beautiful lighting and an orchestra, this display of "living art" is something an art lover shouldn't miss!!

Beautiful Cherry Blossom Tattoo Art

Alice was referred to Jason by a good friend of ours, Mike Franco, owner and operator of Airbrush Hut. She came to Jason to get her first tattoo designed, cherry blossoms with the character meaning "blessed". Alice explained that she wanted it on her back and didn't want the tattoo art to be too big and she wanted it to look feminine. After collaborating with Jason on the design she booked her tattoo appointment for the following week. Alice sat like a champ for her tattoo. She was nervous but, she had her husband's hand to squeeze during the uncomfortable parts of the tattoo. After it was all said and done, the tattoo came out beautifully, just the way she wanted.

Samurai Tattoo Sleeve by Jason Dunn: Session 3

Jason has added the third installment of the samurai sleeve I previously posted about. Jason custom designed a Japanese Menpo (a face mask on a Japanese samurai kabuto helmet)  for the inside of John's arm. The size of the tattoo art is pretty impressive because it takes up almost the entire inside of his arm, elbow to wrist. The tattoo session lasted about 5 hours and they had almost all of it completed. The samurai kabuto helmet is only partially finished as you can tell in the photo. This sleeve is really starting to take shape and I cannot wait to see the final result! Stay tuned to see more of it's progression.
