Jason Dunn Tattoos Samurai Sleeve

Samuraitattoohorse1 If you have been following me on Twitter.com then you would know that I started a new black and grey japanese/samurai tattoo sleeve. My customer John Wolf patiently waited for me to develop something unique from the average japanese style tattoo.  After several meetings we decided to work in a photo realistic style and create an old world look to his samurai sleeve.

Samuraitattoohorse2 We started tonight with a famous statue of Kusunoki Masashige, a 14th century samurai. It's located in the plaza area outside the Imperial Palace.  We thought this would be a great start and Saturday he will be back to finish this piece and start the next installment of the sleeve.

Samuraitattoohorse3 Pizza and Pain!  Tattooing was fun today!  I would like everyones feed back so please let me know what you think of the beginning of our project?
