Hey Boys and Ghouls! Tonight I got the pleasure of tattooing my buddy Scott's leg. We started around 6:30 and ended around midnight. We got a good start on his Herman Munster tattoo. I think we should take another pass at it when it heals up and maybe put a little background as well.
Scott was also one of our lucky winners of my Portrait Promotion for this month. More coming soon!

Jason Dunn started an amazing Batman color portrait tattoo last night. Trevor was one of our lucky customers to participate in a special deal that Jason had going on this month. Trevor gave Jason plenty of ideas for portraits and they settled on Batman. I am not sure of the original artists' name of this Batman art but, it is incredible! Jason is going big with the size of the portrait on Trevor's leg so it looks really impressive. Here is a photo of what Jason got done in the first session.
There will be one, maybe two more sessions to complete the portrait and put in a background. And possibly talk of a Joker? Stay tuned to see the portrait finished! Scott came by for another session on his leg sleeve tattoo. Six hours of work on this color leg sleeve tattoo tonight and this is what we got done. I havent seen him in a while but we are getting things going now. Scott opted for the calico style koi fish design and we did his peony flower tattoo on his foot in yellow. Much much more to be done on his leg.
I am really looking forward to getting this piece done soon. Wait till you guys see what he's getting done on this coming Tuesday! It's a surprize so make sure you keep coming back to check in on the updates.

Alright, here we go! Lot's of work on this samurai tattoo. This is a buddy of mine, Chris and he is adding to his tattoo sleeve with a custom samurai mask and flower design. He came in a while back and wanted something that had some freestyle flames on it and so we incorporated that into the design as well. The lotus flower is producing the flames and the light source for this tattoo. Here is an in progress shot of the piece. I will be working out all the details of the mask in our next session.

Boy was this a fun one. Kat finally came back to get the rest of her color done on this scarab tattoo design. She has been rather busy with her new career. So here you go. I thought I would put this up to show you the finished product.

Hello my good friends! Last night my good buddy whom I call "Cohiba Chris" came by with his father to start the color on his cigar label style tattoo. I met Chris a while back on one of my many trips to the cigar store. We sort of hit it off right away and have been friends since. We have been developing a cigar label inspired design for his first tattoo that would incorporate his name and the name of his new born.
Chris showed me a few labels that already exist and we decided to alter one and get to work on it right away. We pulled the main idea from the cigar brand, San Cristobal and went from there. The first session was all about putting down a soft grey outline and some shading, which took about 2 to 3 hours. Last night we started with the bird and packed in some color, which took about 2.5 hours or so. I will shoot you guys some updates along the way. One of the very first tattoos done by Jason Dunn in 2009 was for our new friend and customer, Christine. She came to Jason with the idea of getting the Diabetes Medical ID tattooed on her wrist because she was sick of wearing the bracelet. Christine wanted to
customize the design to better suit her style and make it look more like a piece of art. Jason changed the wings on the medical ID to resemble dragonfly wings and made the staff look more ornate and vintage. Overall the piece looked really great. Christine was very excited and happy about her new tattoo and couldn't wait to show it off!
